How to Get to Mallorca

The easiest way to reach Mallorca is by plane via Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). The airport is served directly from many cities in Germany and across Europe. You can find flights, prices, and times, for example, at Skyscanner.

From the airport, you can then continue your journey easily. There are public buses such as the airport lines A1 to Palma and A2 toward Playa de Palma and S’Arenal. Depending on the season, additional connections to popular vacation destinations also operate. Of course, there are also taxis and rental cars. If you are staying in Palma, you can usually get into the city quickly. For beach destinations in the south and east, a transfer, shuttle, or rental car may be worthwhile depending on your plans.

Another option is the ferry. From mainland Spain, there are connections to Palma, for example from Barcelona or Valencia. This is practical if you have more luggage or want to travel directly with your own car. You can find tickets and times for ferries as well as long-distance buses at Omio.
