Since more than 2 months I’m staying again on Lombok and it looks like I’m gonna stay here for many weeks more. During this long time I gathered a lot of footage with the GoPro, that I put together in a new travel video.
This time, the focus is not only on the beaches (like often in our videos), but more on culture, nature, viewpoints and places off the beaten tourist paths. In part 2 there will be, as usual, more undiscovered dream beaches and islands, from which Lombok has enough to offer.
The first part of our Discover Lombok video (2015)
So you can see the following places in the video: the hotels The Puncak and The Chandi, Batu Layar, the Coco Beach restaurant, the Pusuk Monkey Forest, Malimbu Hill 2, Nipah Beach, the Sire Peninsula and Sire Beach, Tetebatu, the temples Pura Meru, Pura Lingsar, Narmada Park and the mountain Gunung Pengsong.
Enjoy our latest Lombok video! If you want to see more videos or you don’t want to miss part 2 of this video, feel free to check out our YouTube channel and subscribe to it. By the way, there you can also find many videos from Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.

hi marcel, i am goin to lombok this coming march for 4 days.
saw your videos that you ride a bike.
do u think its possible going from senggigi to tiu kelep waterfall by motorbike?
i saw that there are about 80 kilometres away and would take 2 hours there.
or should i take tour operators?
Hi Max,
I never went this way on my own but I think it’s definitely possible, just make sure to start very early in the morning and leave back before sunset. There will be not much traffic up north. The roads to Senaru along the west and north coast are mostly fine.
Best regards
Marcel
