Laos Adventure: From Vientiane to Luang Prabang (Video)

Laos is the only country in Southeast Asia that has no direct access to the ocean. That’s one of the reasons many people avoid Laos during their trip to Southeast Asia. But Laos has really much to offer with its fantastic scenery, delicious food and charming cities.

My two-week trip through Laos, which is adjacent to Thailand or Vietnam, led me from the capital Vientiane with a stop in Vang Vieng to the north of the country to Luang Prabang. Of course I filmed the whole trip with my GoPro. From those many scenes I put together our newest travel video from Laos.

In the video I visited the following places:

• That Dam, Patuxai, the night market, Wat That Tai Luang and Pha That Luang (in Vientiane)
• The Blue Lagoon and the Nam Song River (in Vang Vieng)
• The night market, That Makmo, Wat Xieng Thong, the old town, Mount Phou Si and the Tat Kuang Si Waterfall (in Luang Prabang)
