The location was ideal, close to everything but tucked down a quiet lane way.
The air con and hot water both worked (a bonus).
Beach towels were provided.
The gardens were kept immaculate.
The lady on the desk was helpful.

I had the most amazing stay at the rescue; I was on Lipe for a little over a week and can’t wait to go back. It was so special having dogs, cats, puppies & kittens all over the place. You didn’t have to let them in your room but I loved having them in there. The staff was sweet and hard working. I will absolutely be staying here again!

We booked a villa on the beach with our own pool. It was stunning, immaculately clean. other then a lack or storage space I couldnt fault the accommodation. It was cleaned every day and turned down every evening by very lovely staff. Breakfast options were good, took us a few days to work out you could pick and choose from the "Set" breakfast menu. For those that were worried by the "Day Pass" comments in other reviews, it didnt affect our stay, the hotel reserve beds for residents that are not given to Day Pass holders. There is a free shuttle provided by the hotel to "Walking Street" at certain times of the day, but if you miss that they call you a taxi and its there within a few mins for a few Bhat per person. We ate in the restaurant once for lunch and once for dinner, the food was okay, but preferred to eat on Walking Street. The staff cant do enough for you which was a real credit to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I really liked the beachfront location, which offered beautiful views and easy access to the sea. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I also enjoyed the swimming pool and the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a beach holiday.

Koh Lipe used to be an amazing quiet paradise, world class diving, authentic food. We had not been back in a few years and was shocked at the change. Now it is a lively place, drug cafes everywhere, food more for tourists, and the dive sites crowded with most of the coral dead. It is a shame that everything has developed without control.
It is still a nice place to visit, but for a short stay, diving no longer worth the hassle and very expensive. There are many crowded areas, so long gone is the tranquil paradise.

Beautiful little island in the south of Thailand.
Beautiful little island in the south of Thailand. Not the easiest to get to.
Main Street is walking street with shops, restaurants, massage parlours etc.
Highly recommend the sunset cruise.
Avoid Zodiac bar, it’s just full of kids that think it’s the place to hand and you can’t even see the sunset from the stone seating.

We stayed 5 nights and it was a perfect length of stay.
We stayed 5 nights and it was a perfect length of stay. I thought Lipe would be very unspoilt as it seemed a long trip to make from Krabi. But I was surprised to see how developed it was when we arrived. We were there in March and it was OK but people told us that earlier in the season it gets really busy. Don't expect Paradise Lost, but its got the best turquoise seas and beaches.

This is an island with beautiful nature that we have known for many years.
Unfortunately, many things are being done wrong and things are looking pretty bad right now. It is overbuilt and in many places there are extremely unpleasant views of piles of garbage, construction materials and many other things that one does not want to see in such a beautiful place.
Each tourist is charged a nature conservation fee of 200 Baths but I definitely think that not much is being done to preserve nature and it is not clear where this money goes.
It's not pleasant at all when you go to dive on the beach in front of your spot and you see bottles, hoses, old cables, including discarded motor parts and an even entire boat engine on the bottom. It's high time the locals understood that the highly inflated hotel prices combined with this mockery of nature cannot continue indefinitely.

Great island with everything a 30min walk or less .
Great island with everything a 30min walk or less . It is a chill out location just to enjoy life passing by . The scenery is amazing and pace is slow . Such a wide variety of fabulous food to suit all tastes and pockets. The biggest challenge is the immigration when you arrive as it takes a while to get through and waiting on luggage from the Ferry from Langkawi.

If you like crowded overpriced places , with beaches and water packed with longboats and streets full of shopping .restaurants and side mopeds zooming up and down . Then this is the place for you . The sand is white and there is a local feel in places particularly if you get away from the main beaches but the island has lost its soul years ago and has a lot of rubbish. The locals are more friendly and less business like compared to other places in Thailand .
Snorkelling is good if you hire a boat to go out and you can rent kayaks .
Shame you pay 200 baht when you land that goes no where to protecting the reefs or the island

Since day one, we felt welcomed and comfortable at the resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location and view was incredible, and the food was delicious! Especially the breakfast. Highly recommend, better than sunrise beach because it is quiet and peaceful. I want to emphasise the staff were amazing, thank you for making our stay fantastic. You can easily walk down the beach to the walking street.
The staff were super friendly, welcoming and professional.
The resort is well located at the end of Sunrise Beach where it is a little quieter with a lovely beach and snorkeling area.
The room was clean, comfortable and serviced daily, with an amazing view from our balcony.
Inclusive breakfast was cooked / served to order and was very generous in choice and portion size.
Very good location right next to the beach! Short walk to walking street (make sure to walk along the beach from the ferry rather than Google maps as much quicker!). Hammock was very comfy! Overall very good value for money. We also really enjoyed the snorkeling trip arranged through the hotel.
Very nice resort. Super garden houses. Clean, comfortable and super located. Fantastic personnel. Very good restaurant. Beach in front of the hotel restricted to boats.
