The restroom was super unclean during our first night and later was fixed. The area was noisy with cars & bikes racing outside during the whole night -- we had to keep the windows open because of hot weather and there was no air conditioning The area was also a bit shady and I would recommend it for people who travel alone

dirtiest city in Europe by far!

dirtiest city in Europe by far! I've been to Paris many times over the years. It's getting dirtier and dirtier with overpopulation issues, pick pocketing, homelessness, etc. It might be city of light and love in the very touristy areas, but walk 100m from there and it's the city of rubbish

Paris. loved the culture and history all in one place. Public transport was excellent and a real adventure. The food, oh my god the bakeries. The muesums are plentiful however they are all booked out so plan ahead. Notre Dam was simply magnificent. Many other cathederals were stunning

I loved the old world Paris the architect, buildings generally everything however the French people I find very rude! All over the people most helpful were few and far between and usually foreigners that are living and working in Paris.

Paris is always wonderful. So much to see, not enough time.

Paris is always wonderful. So much to see, not enough time. Learning the Metro system is essential for covering the city. A Navigo card can be easily reloaded as many times as you need it. However the city is very crowded in the summer. I recommend visiting in September, or early October to avoid lines at the great sites.

For this second visit, I gathered the following:

For this second visit, I gathered the following: One museum per day is best to appreciate the city's culture Allow time to get lost in neighborhoods outside the city's centre Jardin du Luxembourg and Parc des Buttes-Chaumont are more enjoyable than the Jardin des Tuileries Trying both local and international cuisine is a must. It was fantastic tasting food from former territories of the French Empire European summers are getting much hotter. A/C is kind of required now. I would still recommend visiting Europe in either April or October instead Pay attention to metro stations. Some are better adjusted for those traveling with luggage than others. Avoid as much as possible Gare du Nord and Chatelet-Les Halles And as usual, keep practicing your French. Most can speak basic English but a lot of signs, even in museums, will still be exclusively written in French.

I love Paris in the fall. I love Paris in the summer.

I love Paris in the fall. I love Paris in the summer. I love Paris. I was very impressed with the genuine efforts Parisians are making these days to make visitors feel welcome. It is a totally different city from what I remember. Paris has become a much more international city without loosing his French charm. There are treasures for everyone. We visited the David Hockney and the Wolfgang Tillman’s exhibitions. We walked everywhere and sat down at numerous terrasses to watch the world go by. We had the best time of our lives.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years largely due to location but given the amount of money that this place must have generated through the years it has not been reflected in updating the quality of rooms and common areas,It’s 3 star at best but charging 5 star money, We want to support and be loyal to smaller business but this place needs revamping not just patched up .It’s shoddy and disappointing , There really are no excuses for this given the level of quality accommodation you can get in Paris now for a cheaper price,

The property was unreal! Perfect for people who want to do Paris on a budget. Payed around $300 aud so £150 for 4 nights which is a bargain. The hotel is 10 minutes train ride on the metro which is fast and efficient. The best station to go from was the garibaldie as it was a nice area and an easy walk to the hotel. Other then then the communal bathrooms were clean and in well working order. Have no complaints and would 100%% recommend this to any people travelling and wanting to do Paris on a budget.

This is a very good 3 star hotel. Good bed, room not as small as in Paris usually, very nice breakfast with tomato, cucumber and other fresh things, good orange jiuice and caffe, and croissants, of course. Very nice people iin reception, speaking good English without accent what has been problem in France sometimes. Breakfast room is big but it was quite full of people. You can take tea, coffee and water all day.

Beautiful rooms, convenient delicious breakfast. They also provided us with the best macarons in France! The staff was helpful in getting a taxi to the airport on our departure date, and stored our bags on the check in date while we explored Paris and our rooms got ready. The location is very close to several transit stops, so it was easy to get to/from the hotel after exploring.

Location was lovely in the Montmartre area lots of cafes, restaurants to walk about and just that little away from all the hustle and bustle of Paris center, buses were cheap and easy to use if you have someone clever on the phone maps.
