We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — just a short walk to a clean, peaceful beach with very few people, which made it feel like a hidden gem. The breakfast by the sea was absolutely amazing, with a beautiful view and delicious food. A big thank you to the staff for decorating our room, we truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Highly recommended!

Beautiful island, frequented by weekend holiday makers from Bangkok. Beautiful beaches. Food and drinks there are slightly pricey. Thai people are generally nice and have super big smile and warmth. Unfortunately for me, in Ko Samed... some how I felt that the big smile and warmth from the locals here is a notch lower compared to other places in Thailand. Possibly due to over population of tourist on the island disrupting their beautiful lives here.

Great beaches!!!!
Great beaches!!!! It is a shame that once you leave the beach and on the road, LOTS of rubbish laying around. A real shame that locals and tourist litter. Beaches clean, roads and surrounding areas not.

We were talked into taking a speed boat at the quay upon arrival by touts rather than the ferry from the Thailand mainland to Koh Samed Port. The particulcar speed boat company had very old boats mastered by young men and in one case a young boy was assisting. Embarkation with suitcases was not easy the same when disembarking. You could see older travellers struggling and hesitant. Some assistance by the crew was available but the able bodied helped themselves. Oversized floation or life Jackets were available though there was no encouragement to use them.
It was the ' GreenTicket' speedboat service and their boats should be urgently checked.

Many lovely beach options but once outside main area you need to hire a motor bike to get around (400 baht per day which is double the price of say Pattaya) Its only a short walk from ferry to centre but most people take shared transport which cost us 30 baht per person. But be warned they will charge you 200 baht to return to ferry as private charter.
Be careful at the ferry pier to Koh Samet because there are two places to buy tickets. One is the Govt big boat which is 60 baht one one way and goes every hour. Taxi drivers take you next door to the private ferries which are old fishing boats and sell you a return tick for 200 baht and its a bit unorganised there.
Beautiful clean, uncrowded white sand beaches with loungers for 100 baht per day. There are expensive resort accommodation options but plenty of cheaper rooms around the centre. 3/4 small girly bars in centre. Lots of restaurants on beaches and in centre (which is one street)
Very nice laid back atmosphere. Recommended.

The beach is fabulous, the walk to it is not suitable if you have walking issues from the property. (Other properties would be better suited for this)! The road is very busy with scooters and bht busses.
