Ideally located in the Funan Mall, lyf Funan Singapore by Ascott features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a fitness center.

The staff were friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The room, although small, was comfortable and spacious for me. Although I had to cut short my stay due to circumstances and ultimately having to skip breakfast and the other amenities (I was looking forward to it), I would recommend staying here again for a staycay or even a holiday.

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Wow. We have been to lots of countries, but Singapore tops them all. Very much like the movie Avatar, you see forests in the sky (on Apartment ledges), towering 'trees' that dance with light, more flowers than anyone could imagine, huge ships balanced on hotel columns...just a magical place. We also had really good food. Everyone needs to go at least once. Please watch the movie Crazy Rich Asians before you go. Then you can be everywhere the movie was filmed!

Singapore is a very clean city with minimal pollution and abundant greenery, which makes the air feel incredibly fresh. It’s a peaceful country with excellent security—you can walk around even at midnight without any concerns. My favorite experiences were visiting the malls and riding the public buses and metro. Of course, I also enjoyed exploring the many tourist attractions. It's almost impossible to get bored or lost in Singapore, as directions are clearly marked and easy to follow.

Singapore is a vibrant melting pot of cultures, religions, and cuisines. It's a shopper’s paradise, boasting the world’s leading luxury brands and high-end malls. Getting around the island is easy thanks to its highly efficient metro system, which connects major attractions and neighborhoods seamlessly. No visit to Singapore is complete without exploring its stunning temples and indulging in the rich variety of multicultural cuisine found at the bustling hawker markets.

Buy universal tickets on line cheaper also any other attractions. Weather is hot and humid. It’s very clean on the streets and MRT and safe to walk around. Lots of small food places give lots of choice for any food you need. Can get expensive at attractions. Very friendlyplace. Use MRT very easy clean and quick get app on line to show stations and links to swap lines. Get a card from the office at each station for $10 comes with $5 already on it and easy to top up at the machine nearby and cheap to use. Good for the buses to.

Foodie heaven and if you mainly go to hawker centres, incredibly cheap in a city notorious for being expensive. Great city to hit the food stalls in the morning before the lunch time rush, have a siesta in the peak heat of the afternoon and take in the city lights (and more delicious food) in the evening. Fabulous city for a short break.

The room was very spacious, which sets it apart from some other hotels in Singapore. The beds were large and comfortable, but we were provided twin beds, rather than a double - this was a little disappointing. The breakfast was reasonable and generous, but certainly not 'fabulous', by comparison to other hotels.

The hotel is quite well located, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are large and well appointed. Room service food is excellent. This is one of the best hotels in Singapore, no doubt. And it's one of my two favorites.
