We were very pleased with our experience of Paris - we were a little worried, travelling with 2 elderly, less mobile ladies, but we received such kindness and consideration from everyone we met. Musee d'Orsay was a particular highlight - we didn't have to join a queue, were supplied with free of charge wheelchairs to enable our mums to get the best experience of the museum - would highly recommend. Similar kindness (without wheelchairs) at Notre Dame, on a Seine boat-trip (Les Vedettes, Pont Neuf), and at Galerie LaFayette, where the roof top terrace was a big hit and very accessible. Thank you Paris - we had a great time :)

One of most beautiful cities that I ever visited.
One of most beautiful cities that I ever visited. Classic elegance, plenty of parks, museum, monuments, and open spaces for the public. You can walk, you can ride a bike and enjoy a espresso like the locals do. ❤️. If you can afford a guided tour to main attractions, do it. It will save you time and energy, and you will learn things easier. 👍👌

Lively city with lots to see & do.
Lively city with lots to see & do.
The crowd is on another level though, so pick the time to visit carefully.
I would recommend visiting places such as the Louvre and Versailles at the earliest time possible.

Paris was amazing.
Paris was amazing. It really stands up to its reputation, which is rare. The city center, divided by the Seine, is picturesque. There are so many places for crowds to gather and celebrate.
I recommend a boat tour. While it may seem cliche, it is a great way to get a full-time view of the city center and main attractions. The city is very congested, and it takes quite some time to get around, so a boat tour can give you a broad view of the sites without the Many ours it would take by foot, bus, car.
It is hard to go wrong with dining in Paris, but be sireto make time for patisserie.
If your are limited to just one or two activities, the Eiffel Tower does not disappoint. Once again, the site exceeds expectations, which is so rare in my experience. The Louvre is another amazing opportunity.
Paris is definitely worth it. I was worried most of all because I cannot speak French. This was not an issue at all. While my lack of French was my deficit, nobody I met seemed phased by needing to communicate in English. I was grateful for that.

Paris has become very crowded and expensive.
Paris has become very crowded and expensive. You can still find reasonable places to eat, but you need to research well. Recommend finding a hotel which includes breakfast, othewise you'll be paying a lot for a cafe breakfast and then lunch and dinner.
Always cheaper to have a coffee sitting at the counter. More expensive sitting down inside and most expensive sitting down outside.

A great city for ambling around in.
A great city for ambling around in. Great food, a lovely ambience, locals generally helpful. Beautiful along by the Seine.
Found the Metro rather difficult to navigate, and it was difficult buying tickets, there were large queues and it's all automated so you need to know what to do. However, many central places are walkable.
I didn't visit sights this time as I was there for a course.

Everything - position -30m from Metro station ,room, room cleaning and best breakfast I ever ate in France.
At the same level the services … all the people from the deskfront to the cleaning very kind and helpful in all our requests. From all hotels across Europe that I’ve stayed is one with the best scores.
If we’ll come once more time in Paris, we’ll stay in the same hotel for sure. We strongly recommend to choose this hotel for everybody who wants to stay confortable and visit Paris in a easy way.
This is a budget hotel and therefore we expected it to feel basic. We stayed for 1 night while changing trains and just wanted somewhere cheap and central. Location is great near several metro stations. The room and shared shower was clean, the mattress was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. For the price we paid in Paris it was a decent deal.
The France Louvre is one of my favourite hotels when in Paris. it’s nice, cosy and affordable (although prices have gone up last year but what hasn’t got more expensive). inspite of it being 42 degrees outside and no AC in the hotel, it was comfortable and not too hot inside
Who knows the usual cheaper paris hotels does not expect much- but this one actually brought what it promised in every respect. Nice, helpful staff, clean basic (but every appliance in good working condition, even the window opening, in the) room, with breakfast.
Nice, cheap hotel in a good location of Paris, lots of shops and attractions nearby. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fit for purpose. The rooms were quiet which is also good. Very close to a train station so good to get around by public transport!
