In Kuta Lombok you can not only surf. It is a great destination as well for mud/dirt biking. I booked with Lombok Enduro Tours which I can only recommend (you don't need to bring you own gear, guides are really helpful and adapting to your level). Because we came for a surf trip, we found Kuta Lombok the best location to access surf beaches on both the east and western parts of Kuta Lombok. They organised drivers for us at very short notice. There are no kettles in the room but the staff organised for me within minutes. We found out that this hotel was one of the first in Kuta Lombok and the experience of the staff reflects this. I can highly recommend. The bed is super comfy and very good air conditioning.
